Rosibel's story

Rosibel is from Estelí. She’s 40 years old, single and the mother of three children still in her care. She studied up to second year of secondary school. She’s a merchant by profession. She sells general merchandise, an activity she’s been carrying out for three years with help from loans from institutions. She used to have a jewelry store but decided to close it because it wasn’t very profitable. At present, her daughters help her with the business selling products around the community which has attracted a good clientele that has generated good profits that she saves to reinvest in her store.

She is asking for the loan to buy rice, sugar, beans, mops, soft-drinks, etc. The loan will help her buy the products that are in most demand by her customers at the same time generating better profits. Her future plan is that her children become professionals so that they can get ahead and be independent.
