Celia's story

Celia is a thirty-eight year old woman and spouse who cares for two children. She lives in her own home, which is located in the village of Bello Horizonte in the district of Tambogrande, in Piura, with her husband and children. Additionally, they now have the basic utility services of electricity and water.
Celia sells clothing and accessories, and also raises lambs and chickens. As a result, she has been working in this business for more than six years. She is well-known in the region, she has a good relationship with her customers, and she relies on the help of her husband and children.
She is requesting a loan of 2200 PEN [$850] which she will use to supply her business (by purchasing t-shirts and winter shorts) and to purchase healthy feed for her animals. Celia has a great desire to get ahead and to help her business to grow.
