Prosperidad Y Exito Group's story

Candelaria is a successful businesswoman. She began selling food that she prepared herself; in order to do this, she set up some tables in the doorway of her house. After a while, this became a place where many people came to eat the various dishes that she offered. With the savings from her work, she was able to open the small store that she has now. From her business, she sells all kinds of food items, such as rice, sugar, noodles, drinks, vegetables, meat, and others. She has had her business for about 6 years. During this time, it has become one of the most successful businesses in the area. This progress in her work is very helpful for her, because through it she has been able to earn a living for her family. In the future, she wants to expand her store with all kinds of products. Her loan will help her to buy various products, mostly bulk foods and soft drinks. Candelaria is a member of the group “Prosperidad Y Éxito” (Prosperity and Success), composed of neighbors and friends from the Puente Piedra region north of Lima, Perú. *Candelaria is wearing a gray shirt and red shorts.
