A loan of $950 helped to invest in her business and make some repairs to her business premises.

Marcela Del Pilar's story

Marcela, 26, is a single mother but she has no children in her care. She lives in her own home in the Chiclayito settlement in the La Matanza district. She has good personal and work references from the area, which is a district containing more than 10,000 residents. Marcela has a business selling beer and snacks in the neighborhood. She sells from her house, and she has 4 years of experience with this business.

The loan that she is requesting, in the sum of 2,513 Peruvian soles, will be invested in her business. Specifically, she will buy corn and will make some repairs to her business premises, which got damaged by the rains. In this way, she will be able to provide better service, and as a result have more income, which will allow her to have better living conditions.

This loan that she is requesting will help her, because many of the residents in her area have the same type of business, and this is a good business to invest in and so will bring in more profits for Marcela.

One of her primary goals is to attract more customers and sell her products at a good price. To do this she will exert herself to the maximum, working every day and doing the work with responsibility and a lot of respect. She already has an established customer base.
