Uliya's story

Uliya is 45 years old, she works in a factory that makes dumplings. As a source of additional income, in 1990 she launched her own livestock business with a starting sum of 2,800 Soviet roubles. Presently, Uliya's farm has 2 dairy cows and 7 sheep, while her monthly profits from sales of milk and dairy products amount to approximately 8,000 som (KGS). In order to continue developing her business, Uliya has turned to Bai Tushum & Partners for a loan of 130,000 som (KGS) to purchase additional livestock. She plans to invest her profits into further expansion of her business.
