Faith is married and has two children who attend school. She owns a house that has neither electricity nor piped water. Her greatest monthly expenses are school fees.
For the past 10 years, Faith has operated a coconut-selling business, selling from door-to-door, mostly to her neighbors. Her goal is to open a shop in the future, and she describes seasonality as her major challenge.
She intends to use the loan of KES 50,000 to expand her business by buying more coconuts to resell.
