A loan of $275 helped to start a video show business.

Jemimah's story

Jemimah is a grocery seller who lives in Changamwe, Kenya. The business has been in operation for the last four years. This business has supported Jemimah and her two children. She started it off from her savings. On learning about Milango, Jemimah joined and is now applying for a loan of 21,050 Kenya shillings to start a video show business.

Her aspiration is to develop the grocery business and thereby be a supplier of most commodities to other small traders. Before then, Jemimah needs to overcome the challenge of some customers not paying on time and price fluctuations. The extra income will help her build a rental house for the family.
