A loan of $950 helped to buy doors and windows and to pay to have parts of her house polished.

Santos Francisca's story

Sra. Francisca is 33 years old and lives with her husband in their home located in a neighborhood in southern Honduras. She moved there 15 years ago. Francisca has two children who are studying and her husband works as a bricklayer. For the past four years, Doña Francisca has been selling soft drinks, donuts, and bags of juice, but she also has sewing machines that she uses to earn additional income for her household.

Doña Francisca is requesting a loan of 18,000 HNL from PRISMA so that she can continue repairing her house, which lacks doors and windows. Some parts of her house also need to be polished. The loans from PRISMA have helped to improve her home, so she is very pleased. Her business enables her to repay her loans since sewing is one of her major sources of income. Doña Francisca dreams of growing her business and finishing the renovations to her house so that she can provide a better life for her family.
