Carmen is from the city of Concepción. She’s married to Antoliano and her family is composed of five children three of which are independent adults with their own families and professions.

Carmen has a home-based general store and she and her family are also milk producers. According to what she tells us, she’s part of a milk producers cooperative that they sell their milk to which helps them very much to work better and improve their income. Carmen says that it’s not easy to run her store while at the same time being the general manager of the cooperative but with help from her family she’s improving and getting ahead.

She requests the loan to buy merchandise for her store like beverages, dairy products, foodstuffs, canned goods and other things to stock her store with. She thanks Kiva and the Fundación for the opportunity she’s receiving because it will be of great help to her.
