A loan of $400 helped to buy ingredients to cook.

Mirian's story

Mirian, 42, has been separated from her spouse for some time. She sells “asaditos” [grilled meat], “empanadas de panza” [beef stomach turnovers]; her food stand is located in the Fortaleza neighborhood. This loan is her second cycle in the institution. Mirian will use the loan to buy ingredients she uses to prepare her asaditos and empanadas in order to increase her working capital.

The reason for requesting the loan is the lack of money to buy ingredients to buy ingredients for her asaditos and empanada sales. The challenge Mirian faces in her business is competition and she’ll use the profits to continue buying ingredients or utensils to continue improving her business. Mirian is a very hardworking person who feels happy and grateful to the institution for the support provided her by granting the loan.
