A loan of $575 helped to buy a motorcycle powered delivery truck to transport her animals and farm supplies.

Liliam Elizabeth's story

Liliam is a 30 year old woman living with her spouse and two children who are still dependent. She lives in her own house with her spouse and children. The house is located in the Guaraguaos Alto settlement in Tambogrande District. Liliam lives in the rural part of the district but her house does have electricity.

The activity Liliam carries out is raising small livestock (sheep, pigs and barnyard fowl) which when they reach ideal size and weight she sells in the local market. She currently has a regular clientele who are merchants from markets in Chiclayo for the most part. Her spouse is a farmer; he leases land where he grows rice and corn and profits he earns are used to collaborate with household expenses.

The amount of the requested loan is 1500 new soles that she will use to buy a motorcycle powered delivery truck to transport her livestock and farm supplies. With this loan Liliam intends to elevate her quality of life since she plans to raise more fowl to earn higher profits.
