A loan of $500 helped to buy piglets to raise, fatten, and sell.

Margarita Liliana's story

Margarita describes herself as a responsible and very hard-working person. She is 34 years old and lives with her husband and her son in San Gabriel, which is in the province of Carchi.

Margarita raises and sells pigs, a business she has had for some twenty years and which has helped her pay some of the household expenses. Margarita decided to take out a new loan to purchase piglets to continue expanding her business, which will help her to obtain good income, which at the same time will allow her to improve the quality of life of her family.

Margarita dreams of having some land where she can have her pigs, since she needs a bigger space.
