Alla's story

Alla and her family live in Nezhin. She has two retail outlets at one of the local markets, where she sells undergarments, socks, stockings, women's sweaters, knee-high socks, etc. The location of the retail outlets is very convenient and well-traveled. Alla has been working in this business for 15 years. Her net profit amounts to about 4 500 hryvnia per month. Alla requested a loan in the amount of 12 000 hryvnia from Kiva in order to refill her inventory of undergarments, sleepwear, light sweaters, knee-high socks for sale during this season and to vary her merchandise selection. Alla expects to earn a good income from selling this inventory of merchandise. In the future, she hopes to develop her business and provide her family with all of the necessities.
