A loan of $1,050 helped to buy fertilizer and cement.

Eusebio's story

Eusebio, age 66, is married and has 11 children. Four of his children are dependent upon him and his wife, and the rest of the children work in agriculture. His wife devotes herself to the household chores. They live in the Las Cañitas community in Juticalpa, Olancho. They are a humble family with scarce resources, but they are very hard-working and honest.

Eusebio has been growing and selling coffee for 30 years. He learned to do this from his father when he was very young. He currently grows corn, beans, and coffee.

Eusebio needs the loan he is requesting to buy fertilizer to plant more coffee. He will also buy cement to improve the place where he stores the coffee. With the help of this loan he will be able to improve his farm and provide better maintenance. That way he will be able to offer his customers a better product.

One of his goals is to expand his coffee farm in order to have more production. This way he will have greater income to help support his family. This is the first loan that Eusebio has requested from FAMA. He expects to make his payments punctually.
