Florentino's story

Florentino is a 42 year old man who’s married and lives in his own house; he has three adult children. He lives in his own house in Sialupe Huamantanga in Lambayeque District. The settlement’s standard of living is at the subsistence level; most of the workers are independent workers in commerce and in raising animals. They also work in agriculture and some work as employees. The activity that Florentino does is raising animals to sell; he raises them in corrals located in his back yard. The corrals area made of adobe, cane stalks and clay. He raises sheep, barnyard fowl, pigs, pigeons, etc. that he sells biweekly. He also works providing transportation and as a farmer; her grows vegetables or rice according to the season. He’s asked for a 2000 new sol loan to buy animal feed and to use in his rice crops.
