Mavuzi is the chairman of a community bank named “Sincérité Plus,” which is composed of 28 microentrepreneurs united in solidarity to receive loans from Kiva through IMF HOPE RDC with the goal of developing their businesses.

Mavuzi is 27 years old and single. He runs a telephone booth. He started his business in 2006 with a beginning capital of 50 USD. With hard work and determination, his business prospered. Mavuzi’s business is located in the west of the city of Kinshasa. With the next loan, he intends to purchase more prepaid cards and increase the inventory in order to add to his working capital. He makes about 120 USD profit each week. His ambition is to become a primary card provider in his area. Mavuzi is the father of two children, ages 1 and 3.
