Minara's story

Minara is 23 years old, married and raising two children, who are five and three years old. To provide a source of income for her family, she became involved in animal husbandry in 2009. The business, started with an initial sum of 20,000 som (KGS), today yields about 4,000 som (KGS) per month from sales of meat products. In order to further develop her business, Minara requested a loan in the amount of 40,000 som (KGS) from the "Bai-Tushum and Partners" company to buy additional heads of livestock. She plans to invest the earnings into a continued expansion of her business.
