Robinson

A loan of $1,250 helped to buy large volumes of wholesale raw materials, to make puddings and frozen desserts, and also to invest in different goods.

Robinson's story

Robinson makes a living selling various goods, as required by his customers. He makes his pre-order and travels to a bordering town to buy the items, and then distribute the orders he sells on credit, and many times, in cash. Also, Robinson makes puddings and frozen desserts and sells them to his customers of event houses as part of his business. With these two businesses that compliment each other, he has achieved well-being for his family, comprised of his spouse and their two children.

His goal is to have his business grow in structure and in the market, but his greatest challenge is insufficient working capital that he can count on to serve such a growing demand. This is why he turns to Kiva loans, first financing, which the Fundación Mario Santo Domingo provides. With this loan, he will buy large volumes of wholesale raw materials to make puddings and frozen desserts and also to invest in different goods. With this investment, he will be able to lower his costs, as well as buy in greater volume to get discounts. This is exactly the success his Kiva credit will bring.
