A loan of $800 helped to buy food staples such as quinoa, lima beans and other products for her business.

Rosa Maritza's story

Rosa is 39, and a member of Bancomunal Virgen de Cocharcas communal bank. She sells staple foods at wholesale. She is married and the mother of four children. She has been a member of Finca Perú for more than 15 years. She has learned a great deal from running her business.

She likes to go to Bancomunal meetings because they provide training in business, as well as in personal development; something that they don't do in other institutions.

She will use the loan she is applying for to buy staples such as quinoa, lima beans and other products for her business, which supplies large institutions.
