A loan of $2,575 helped a member to purchase clothing.

El Nanchito Group's story

Patricia is 54, married, and her husband's name is Honorino. He is a farmer. She has a daughter, Haylline, who is 6 years old and in first grade of primary school.

She sells clothing, and tells us that she will invest her loan in stocking her business, as she needs to buy clothing to update all her items to the latest styles. For example, she needs to buy more party dresses, casual pants, stylish blouses, as well as ladies' and men's underwear. This way, both Patricia and the customers will benefit. Patricia would double her sales from what she had before, and the customers would get the latest fashions in a style that suits them.

Patricia hopes that things will work out for her this way from now on, thanks to the loan that she has been granted. As well, she will be able to help her daughter succeed in getting an education.

Patricia belongs to the "El Nanchito" group, made up of 11 hard-working women, as follows: Irma, Luisa, Geronima, Fabiana, Patricia, Elia, Virginia, Rosabel, Felicita, Gloria and Catalina. All of them have small businesses such as selling bread rolls, sweet potatoes, clothing, bread, candy and fruit.
