A loan of $525 helped to buy fertilizers and pay for labor.

Jhony Yonary's story

Jhony is a young man who is 24 years of age. He is married and has no children. His wife takes care of the household chores. Jhony is a coffee farmer who learned this trade as a boy by working alongside his parents. Five years ago, he started growing crops on his own farm where he works every day. He does not have a set schedule of when he stops and starts. One of the advantages that Jhony enjoys is that his property is in an area that is suitable for producing coffee. As a result, he has done very well.

Jhony initiated a loan request because he needs to buy fertilizers and complete the payment of his workers. This will enable him to do a better job of maintaining his crops. One of the inconveniences that Jhony must contend with is the lack of available workers. When he has to transport his product during the winter season, the roads during that time are in bad condition. His goal is to gradually modernize his farm so that he can generate more revenue. This is his first loan cycle with FAMA and he plans to invest the money well and submit his payments in a timely manner.
