A loan of $1,075 helped to purchase livestock.

Klara's story

Klara is 33 years old, married and raising three children. To provide a primary source of income for her family, Klara has been involved in animal husbandry since 2000, having started this business with a purchase of a calf with 2,000 som (KGS). Today her business contains three dairy cows, ten sheep, three horses, and the earnings from the sale of milk allow her to cover the family's daily expenses. In order to further develop her business, Klara requested a loan in the amount of 50,000 som (KGS) from the "Bai-Tushum and Partners" company to buy additional heads of livestock. She plans to invest the earnings from the loan partially into house repairs and future business expansion.
