Salim's story

Salim is a 28-year-old single man who lives in Sana'a, Yemen. For his educational background, he reached university. Salim's business is a small grocery store where he sells basic food materials and soft drinks. He has been in this business for seven years. He tends to his customers who come to him every day. He would like to invest this loan in the expansion of his business. He intends to increase his profit to in order to open a supermarket.

Salim has applied for a youth loan of 100,000 Yemeni rials from AMB. With this money, he wants to buy grocery materials like sweets, soft drinks and soaps, etc. With increased income, he will improve his family’s quality of life. In the future, he would like to have a house and open a store beside his house.
