A loan of $1,500 helped to purchase livestock.

Gulbubu's story

Gulbubu is 56 years old, married and raised four children. In search of a source of income for her family, she started her own business in animal husbandry in 1988 with an initial sum of 5,000 som (KGS). Thanks to Gulbubu's hard and persistent work, today her livestock headcount includes four dairy cows, two horses and twenty-five sheep, and yields about 10,000 som (KGS) in monthly profit from sales of milk and milk products. In order to further develop her business, Gulbubu requested a loan in the amount of 70,000 som (KGS) from the "Bai-Tushum and Partners" company to buy livestock for fattening up and resale. She plans to invest the earnings from the loan into expanding her business.
