La Sra. María Teresa es comerciante hace más de 14 años, tiene dos salones comerciales en el Mercado Municipal donde vende especies al por mayor y menor como: manzanillas, boldo, anís, eneldo, azafrán, semilla de lino, hierbas medicinales, pomadas, jarabes, entre otros productos naturales. Comenzó con un pequeño local con ventas al menudeo, poco a poco fue creciendo con la clientela que formaba con mucho sacrificio, empeño y la ayuda de su familia. Comenta que en esta época tiene mucha competencia por lo que hay que mejorar los precios y el servicio para mantener a la clientela. Ella con su carisma y amabilidad atiende personalmente junto con marido y también ayudan los hijos.
