A loan of $2,200 helped a member to buy jewelry for resale.

Las Virtuosas Group's story

The “Las Virtuosas” group is a good group of women in the city of Itá. The current president, Delia, contacted the advisor in a meeting that took place in the neighborhood and informed herself of the work that the Committee does. Currently the group has 17 women, who are working on their first loan cycle together in a supportive way within the program.

Mariana is a part of the group. She sells jewelry of all sorts, such as rings, bracelets, chains, and other things. She says that she has a good clientele because she always gets a lot of orders from her customers, and this is why things are going very well for her.

She is requesting the loan to buy jewelry so that she can stock up and have a greater variety to offer to her customers. She is very happy because of the opportunity for progress that she is receiving, because it will be very helpful to her.
