Arus's story

59-year-old Arus is engaged in running a business in Achajur village, Tavush region. She rents a shop where she sells clothes, food, household goods and tableware as well. Her husband helps Arus in the business. Arus brings merchandise from Yerevan and also buys from suppliers in her village. Arus says that food and clothes-selling brings in good profit so she always tries to diversify her shop's assortment. She has been running her business for almost 20 years.

Arus has a big family and her business allows her to support her family. Arus's family consists of her husband, her son, daughter-in-law and 3 grandchildren. Arus's son fulfills private orders for construction, and her husband works as a watchman.

Arus is asking for an 800,000 Armenian dram loan to buy spring season clothes, and a lot of foods and household goods to resell. This is Arus's second loan from Nor Horizon.
