A loan of $575 helped to buy shoes for her business.

Elsa's story

Elsa, age 29, is a member of the Communal Bank "Urpicha II". She buys and sells scrap metal, but she also sells shoes and clothing through catalogs. Elsa has been a member of FINCA Peru for two years. She is the mother of two children and is grateful for everything FINCA Peru has helped her with such as providing an education for her children, purchasing furniture for her home, and having a better life. Her income has grown and she knows how to manage her business as a result of the training she received from her Communal Bank.

Elsa is now requesting a loan to invest in the purchase of shoes for her business.
