A loan of $775 helped to paint his store and buy merchandise.

Ronald Ysaac's story

Ronald is a hardworking and enthusiastic young man. He lives with his beloved wife in the city of Camaná, which is known for beautiful beaches, agriculture (in particular the rice crop which is considered one of the best in the world), shrimp chowder, and also for the generosity of its people. In his free time he likes to play soccer with his neighbors and friends and he also likes to eat one of his favorite foods, "frejoles" [beans].

With much excitement, Ronald gets up each day to open his grocery store where he works around 10 hours a day. He can serve up to 35 customers and he thinks his business is going well because he's very friendly and offers quality products at reasonable prices.

Ronald is very grateful to the Kiva lenders because thanks to their help he will be able to paint his store so that it looks cleaner, and he will also buy merchandise like rice, sugar, noodles, canned goods, soft drinks, and other things that will allow him to offer his customers a greater variety of products and increase his income. He will keep fighting every day to achieve his biggest dream: "having a bigger business".
