A loan of $1,000 helped a member to buy a buffalo to sell.

Amna Mai's Group's story

Amna Mai is a 35-year-old married woman and a mother of nine children; seven daughters and two sons. Five of her children are getting their education while the others are free and don’t do anything.

Amna and her husband are by nature very hard-working persons. They own and operate an animal sales business. Their work is home based. Amna’s husband purchases the animals from an animal market and sells to the required customers for a profit.

Amna has requested a loan from Kiva partner Asasah for their animal sales business. They will invest the loan to buy an animal (buffalo) to sell. They are very confident that their business will return them good earnings after this loan investment.
