A loan of $250 helped to buy clothing materials and school uniforms.

Hannah's story

Hannah, a 32-year-old married mother of two children aged five and eight years, started her tailoring business after realizing she was talented in dressmaking. Her business is within a busy shopping centre, and she currently makes and sells dresses and school uniforms to individual clients and schools.

Having repaid a previous loan of Kes20,000, she is now requesting a new loan for the same amount to buy clothing materials to improve her business. Hannah plans to use the anticipated new profits to buy more machines and hire more employees.
