A loan of $1,200 helped purchase of leather to have jackets made to sell.

Fatish's story

Fatish V. has been selling fruits and vegetables for 15 years. He is an Internally Displaced Person (IDP) from Aghdam. Fatish owns a shop in front of his house. His friend who is an IDP from Aghdam offered to start a small business together with him. They will buy leather, order jackets in tailor shops, and sell them out of Fatish’s shop.

Fatish’s daughter will be helping them to sell jackets among women in the Qarachukhur district where they live. Women's jackets are being sold faster. Most of the people that live in their neighborhood are IDPs from Aghdam and there are good connections between them, so it won’t be a problem to sell their new jackets that will be 40-50% cheaper than in shops.

Fatish needs this loan as his share to put into this business venture with his friend.
