A loan of $4,300 helped a member to buy thread, needles and others.

Kuña Kyrey Group's story

This committee was formed thanks to María Lourdes and Eulogia who had approached Fundación Paraguaya and invited their friends and neighbors from the neighborhood to join in the work to get ahead and improve their lifestyle. They are 19 hardworking, humble women who must earn their daily sustenance.

María Lourdes sells crocheted items that she makes herself. She designs all types of items like bedspreads, tablecloths, articles of clothing and others. Her products are well-received and sell well because she has many customers that always place orders and buy from her. Her desire is to be able to continue working and growing as a micro businesswoman this way.

She is asking for the loan to buy thread, needles and other supplies she needs to continue working and doing her crocheting.
