Theresa's story

Theresa cooks konkonte for sale. Konkonte is a local dish made out of cassava. She serves it in palm nut soup and grandnut soup. She has been in this business for 7 years now. Theresa lives together with the husband and 5 dependents in Adum-Banso near Takoradi. She uses her income to assist her husband in the general upkeep of their family.

Theresa will use her loan to purchase cassava for the konkonte, meat, fish, and vegetables ingredients for her dish. With the new profit, she will expand her business.
