Evergreen Ladies Group's story

This is 30-year-old Letween from Harare, the capital of Zimbabwe, which means 'he who does not sleep". She is widowed with one child, who attends school. She also cares for one dependent.

Letween runs a business producing clothes. The business has been in operation for 8 years. She says the main challenges faced are frequent power cuts which slow down business. Letween has requested a loan of $800 to buy sewing machines and cloth. She says the extra income generated as a result of this loan will allow her to help with family upkeep. In the future Letween plans to own a clothing shop.
