Améyo's story

Améyo is 54 years old and married to a teacher. She has four children who do not go to school.

Since 2000, she's been working as a reseller. She sells charcoal at her home to all kinds of customers.

She gets her supplies in Lomé and works alone. At this time, her main difficulty is being out of stock.

Améyo is seeking her first loan from Kiva's partner, WAGES, in order to buy charcoal. She wants to reinvest in her business.

In the forthcoming years, she would like to expand her business. She says that she intends to use her profits to take care of her family.
