Parachichi Group's story

Rosemary, who is in her mid forties, is married with two children who are big. She has been selling fish for four years now. She works from 2.00 pm to 11.00 pm daily and is able to make a fair monthly profit.

This will be her eighth loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. She used the previous loans to buy a sewing machine for a small tailoring business, buy a plot of land and pay household expenses. She has paid back all her loans successfully. She wants a loan to buy more fish. Her dream is to one day be able to build her own house.

She will share this loan with her loan group "parachichi" which has a total of 15 members who will hold each other accountable for paying back their loans.
