A loan of $2,150 helped to purchase cattle.

Sagyn's story

Sagyn is 54 years old, a widow and has two children. She became involved in animal husbandry 25 years ago, having started this business with an initial sum of 5,000 som (KGS). At the present time, Sagyn's business contains two dairy cows and one horse, and yields about 4,000 som (KGS) per month from sales of milk and milk products. In order to further develop her business, Sagyn requested a loan in the amount of 100,000 som (KGS) from the "Bai-Tushum and Partners" company to buy bulls for fattening up and resale. She plans to invest the earning from the loan into expanding her business.
