Tho, 37, is married and resides with her husband and three children in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia. She has been involved in agricultural business for over ten years, has extensive experience, and is successful in her career. She is involved in growing rice and fattening up cattle. Approximately, she earns USD 3 per day. Her husband carries ice cream to sell in the local community. He earns about USD 8 per day.
In order to improve her husband’s business, Tho is requesting a loan of USD 700 to purchase a motorbike for her husband to use to carry ice cream to sell. This purchase would enable her husband to carry ice cream to sell in larger amounts and thus earn more profit.
In the future, she would like to build a new wooden house and help her children get a Bachelor’s degree.
