A loan of $1,250 helped a member buy vegetables to sell and balanced food to feed her pigs.

Fuerza Y Valor Group's story

The “Fuerza y Valor” (Strength and Value) Communal Bank is a new group composed of 7 members, the great majority of whom are residents of this zone.

Gladys is 40 years old and separated with 2 independent children. Some 25 years ago Gladys began selling vegetables in the street and as a 2nd activity, raising pigs. Gladys is a hard-working woman and thanks to her work and dedication, she has been able to improve her life and maintain her business. Gladys' biggest desire is to finish construction of her residence. In order to continue expanding her business, she is soliciting a loan to buy vegetables and balanced food for her pigs.

The new “Fuerza y Valor” Communal Bank is grateful for this offer of a loan.
