A loan of $775 helped to finish the installation of a raised floor in her shop.

Cinthia Rumina's story

Cinthia is a married young woman. She and her husband help one another so that they can make constant progress and move forward. Her husband works as a bricklayer while she sells groceries. Their small family currently lives in the city of Ica, Peru, which experiences constant earthquakes and heavy rains. Many of those who have had to face these challenges have been affected in different ways.

Cinthia has plenty of drive to succeed and grow in her micro-enterprise. This is why she decided to set up a small grocery store in front of her house, which generates the daily income she needs and provides her with something to do all day. Cinthia believes her business is starting to grow, so she tries to keep her shop well-stocked as much as she can. She says that thanks to a relative who also has a grocery store, she learned how to manage her business.

With the assistance being provided, Cinthia will be able to finish installing a raised floor in her small shop. This will enable her products to avoid contact with the ground, which will make her customers feel more secure and happy when shopping in her store. As a result, her income will increase, thus allowing her to install a roof on her shop made of solid material. In addition, Cinthia will gradually be able to fulfill her great dream of finishing the construction of her house.
