Gulnar's story

Gulnar is 50 years old. She is married and has raised 3 children. She works as an operating room nurse, while also raising livestock and keeping bees as a source of additional income. Gulnar started her business with an initial investment of 1,000 som (KGS), and presently keeps 2 dairy cows, 10 sheep, 1 horse and 30 bee hives. The average monthly income from the business is 20,000 som (KGS). In order to continue developing her business, Gulnar has turned to Bai Tushum & Partners for a loan of 115,000 som (KGS) to purchase another dairy cow and 4 sheep, as well as additional bee families since some of them died due to the cold winter. Gulnar plans to invest her profits from this loan into further expansion of her business.
