Cham, 50, is married and resides with her husband and two children in Siem Reap Province, Cambodia. She is a homemaker. Her husband runs a business renting sound equipment. He earns approximately USD 5 per day. One of her children is a construction worker in Thailand. He earns about USD 4 per day. In order to improve her husband’s business, Cham is requesting a loan of USD 1000 to purchase four more speakers for her husband to rent in his business. This purchase would enable him to provide better service to clients and earn more profit. In the future, Cham would like to use the further profit to expand the business and build a new house.
