A loan of $550 helped to buy oil, beans, peanuts, soft drinks, potatoes, etc.

Lisete Venâncio's story

Lisete Venancio was born in the district of Boane in the province of Maputo in southern Mozambique. She is single and is the mother of one son who is in school. She studied through seventh grade and stopped due to her parents' lack of financial resources. She lives in her own home with her family and doesn't support anyone besides them.

She has had a business selling various products for more than eighteen years. She makes almost 4,000 meticals, which she puts towards her home's expenses. She also saves some in her bank account in the BIM bank.

She has never had a loan with another bank. She became familiar with Hluvuku through a friend who is also a client of the institution. This is her second loan with Hluvuku, and it is for 15,000 meticals. She will use it to buy products to increase her quantity of merchandise (potatoes, soft drinks, oil, beans, peanuts, etc.).

She promises to make her payments on time. In the future, she wants to build a stand, for which she plans on requesting more loans from Hluvuku.
