A loan of $2,150 helped to purchase livestock.

Mukhabat's story

Mukhabat is 34 years old, married and raised three children. In search of a source of income for her family, Mukhabat became involved in animal husbandry in 2003, having started this business with an initial amount of 5,000 som (KGS). Today, her business contains two dairy cows, three calves and forty sheep. The earnings from sale of milk and meat products amount to about 10,000 som (KGS) per month. In order to further develop her business, Mukhabat requested a loan in the amount of 100,000 som (KGS) from the "Bai-Tushum and Partners" company to buy additional heads of livestock. She plans to invest the earnings from the loan into a further expansion of her business.
