Kha, 34, is married and resides with his wife and two children in Siem Reap Province, Cambodia. He has been running a business of buying cattle to resell for over seven years, earning approximately USD 5 per day. His wife runs a souvenir and clothes shop. She earns approximately USD 7 per day. In order to improve his wife’s business, Kha is requesting a loan of USD 1,500 to purchase more fashionable clothes to sell. This loan would enable his wife to have more fashionable clothes to attract more customers and earn more profit. In the future, he would like to use the profits to expand the business and help his children get bachelor’s degrees. Moreover, he hopes to rebuild his present house to make it comfortable for his family.
