Kim, 34, is married and resides with her husband and five children in Siem Reap Province, Cambodia. She is a sanitation worker who earns about USD 2 per day. Her husband is a construction worker. He earns about USD 3 per day.
In order to improve her family’s livelihood, Kim is requesting a loan of USD 300 to purchase rice to resell for a profitable price. By doing so, she would earn extra income to support the family.
In the future, she would like to expand her business and help her children get Bachelor’s degrees. Moreover, she hopes to build a new house to provide convenient living conditions for her family.
