A loan of $650 helped to buy a few goats.

Abdurauf's story

Abdurauf is a 28 year-old young man, who is married and has three children. He is involved in dekhan farming of growing and selling peanuts and also in fattening up and selling livestock. He primarily buys sheep and goats. Being knowledgeable in livestock breeds and having learnt from his friends about loans, Abdurauf also decided to obtain a loan and expand his animal husbandry business by buying a few heads of young goats. His residence is located near mountains, and this is why livestock spends entire days at a pasture in the mountains, and a shepherd brings them back in the evenings.
