A loan of $1,725 helped to purchase livestock.

Ryskul's story

Ryskul is 58 years old, married and has five children. She became involved in animal husbandry 17 years ago, having started this business with the purchase of five sheep. At the present time, Ryskul's business contains three dairy cows, one horse and ten sheep, and yields about 10,000 som (KGS) per month from sales of milk and milk products. She also works on 2.0 hectares of irrigated land, where she grows beans and multi-year herbs. In order to further develop her business, Ryskul requested a loan in the amount of 80,000 som (KGS) from the "Bai-Tushum and Partners" company to buy additional heads of livestock. She plans to invest the earnings from the loan into expanding her business.
