A loan of $500 helped to buy cheese, sugar, oil and canned goods.

Rosa Silvia's story

Rosa lives with her family, her husband and three children who are 18, 23, and 27 years old. The two older ones no longer depend on her but her husband with his occupations sometimes helps her out with household expenses.

Rosa runs a store where she sells non-perishables and also cheese. The business is located at home and she’s been in business three years. She also sells string cheese and frozen treats.

She’s asking for the loan to buy cheese to resell and also to buy oil, sugar and canned goods among other products that are needed to continue generating sales.

Rosa’s hope is that her children will complete their schooling so that they will have more growth opportunities. With the loan she expects to have more customers who will make demands on the business.
